Job Summary

: We are seeking a highly skilled Stormwater Inspector to join our team at Anderson County, S.C. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biological sciences, construction science, environmental science, or a related field.

Responsibilities

:
  • Conduct site inspections to evaluate stormwater management controls at construction sites, developed sites, and county facilities.
  • Assist with the implementation of the County's stormwater program.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to staff and stakeholders.

Requirements

:
  • Bachelor's Degree in biological sciences, construction science, environmental science, natural resources, environmental engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in a related field.
  • A valid SC driver's license or ability to obtain one by the start of employment.
  • SCDHEC Certified Erosion Prevention & Sediment Control Inspector Certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire date.
