As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients recover and regain their independence by providing therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address patients' communication and swallowing needs
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patients' unique needs and abilities
  • Communicate patient progress and problems to supervisors and other team members
  • Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements
  • Collaborate with patients' families and nursing staff to develop follow-through programs
  • Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe and clean condition
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Meet the education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology
  • Minimum of six months experience working with adult and geriatric populations
  • Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are rendered
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
