Position Overview
• Responsible for establishing and overseeing a financial control framework, tracking and managing expenditures and timelines for projects, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
• Performs comprehensive evaluations and generates reports to maintain project costs within predetermined limits.
• Develops financial plans and timelines for project activities, conducts fiscal analyses, and formulates program strategies.
• Recognizes and alleviates financial and scheduling challenges through risk evaluation processes.
• Keeps precise documentation of financial outlays, requests supplementary funding when necessary.
• Integrates contractual amendments into financial management systems and offers assistance to Project Managers.
• Aids in project initiation, prepares financial forecasts, and examines contract alterations.
• Tracks funding levels, addresses invoicing discrepancies, and guarantees compliance with financial reporting standards.
• Follows accounting principles and organizational policies regarding project execution and financial management.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Qualifications
15+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a related discipline or a High School Diploma with 19+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and the MS Office suite, with exceptional organizational and analytical capabilities.
• Capacity to operate both independently and as part of a team, emphasizing customer service.
• Familiarity with CostPoint & Cognos is advantageous.
