Position Overview:

We are seeking a Full-Time Sales Consultant to join our team in the Hudson, WI area. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable insights and experience within the beverage distribution sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and nurture effective customer relationships.
  • Successfully sell, distribute, and position all Beechwood products.
  • Conduct regular promotions in accounts as needed.
  • Identify and develop new accounts and placements.
  • Organize and implement floor displays and promotional materials in all accounts.
  • Balance multiple objectives to maintain flow and organization for retail partners while fostering growth.
  • Ensure proper product rotation and adherence to code policies.
  • Merchandise accounts effectively with permanent and paper point-of-sale materials.
  • Manage accounts receivable collections in line with corporate credit policies.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product information, and other concerns.
  • Maintain a consistent schedule of weekly appointments with assigned accounts.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to operate hand and foot controls for driving.
  • Walking and climbing stairs regularly.
  • Frequent two-handed lifting, handling, and carrying of cases from floor to overhead levels.
  • Pushing and pulling carts on various surfaces.
  • Engaging in sustained squatting, kneeling, and bending while handling products.
  • Manual dexterity to operate business equipment such as computers and telephones.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business or marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in sales and customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Enthusiastic, high-energy, self-motivated individual with a desire to excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of legal requirements for the sale and delivery of alcoholic beverages.
  • Capability to lift and move cases weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
