Special Education Instructor for Students with Disabilities

The Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a special education teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of students with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations to assess students' cognitive, behavioral, and emotional functioning.
- Develop and implement IEPs that address students' specific needs and goals.
- Provide counseling and support to students on various issues, including academic concerns, social-emotional problems, and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to develop interventions that address students' needs.
- Work closely with parents and families to provide support and resources.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education from an accredited institution.
- Valid and current state license to practice special education.
- Minimum of two years of experience working as a special education teacher in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment and intervention techniques.
- Experience in developing and implementing IEPs.
