About the Role

KurzSolutions is seeking a highly skilled Dietitian and Nutritionist Educator to join our team at the Jicarilla Apache Health Care Facility in Dulce, New Mexico.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead weight reduction and exercise programs to promote healthy lifestyles.
  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients at risk.
  • Provide nutritional consultation services to patients and community programs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans for patients with chronic illnesses.
  • Develop and deliver in-service training programs for client staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including Client Privacy Act and HIPAA.
Requirements
  • Current nutrition license in the state of New Mexico.
  • Registration with the American Dietetic Association as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
  • Degree or diploma from a professional registered nutrition program approved by the state accrediting agency.
  • Certification as a Certified Diabetes Educator.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.
