Job Summary

The East Bridgewater YMCA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Wellness Director to lead our fitness programs and services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful fitness programs, as well as supervising staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement fitness programs for youth, teens, adults, seniors, and special populations
* Supervise and train fitness staff to ensure high-quality service delivery
* Recruit, hire, and evaluate staff to meet branch and Association goals
* Manage all aspects of staffing, including recruitment, hiring, training, and payroll
* Work closely with the Associate Executive Director to develop and implement new programming and staff development trainings

Requirements

* Previous supervisory experience required, minimum two years
* Must be able to conduct fitness classes, lift, push, and pull heavy weights to demonstrate equipment and technique, and to set up and break down equipment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, members, and community partners
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
