Job Summary

**Job Title:** Executive Chef - Full Time Position

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring the highest quality food products are prepared and served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff: Direct and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, including cooks and other associates, to ensure the efficient preparation and serving of food products.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that all food products are prepared and served to the highest quality standards, meeting the requirements of our customers and regulatory agencies.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including receiving and inspecting product and supplies, to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet our production needs.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and recipes, ensuring that they meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
  • Team Development: Provide training and development opportunities to our kitchen staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their jobs effectively.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
