Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Welding Adjunct Instructor to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching welding courses to a diverse student body.

Responsibilities
  • Teach welding courses to students at various locations, including online and dual credit programs.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans in accordance with established syllabi.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and technology to engage students and promote learning.
  • Participate in college functions and contribute to the development of the welding program.
  • Render professional service as a team player and support the college's mission and vision.
Requirements
  • Five years of experience in the welding field, with an associate degree or certifications in welding.
  • Proficiency in SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW processes on plate, pipe, and structural steel.
  • In-depth knowledge of the welding trade and ability to effectively share this knowledge with others.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Teaching experience, especially at the community and technical college or secondary level.
