Physical Therapist Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at ProFlex Physical Therapy. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out individual physical therapy treatment plans developed by a physical therapist.
  • Apply modalities to patients in accordance with established procedures and Plan of Care.
  • Train patients in exercise, ambulation, activities of daily living, use of adaptive equipment, and positioning aids.
  • Document patient/client progress by adding to and maintaining ongoing records such as progress notes.
  • Refer patients to other services when appropriate.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Notify supervising therapists when a patient needs evaluation in accordance with the State practice laws.
  • Participate in in-services to broaden knowledge of physical therapy and other related topics.
  • Participate in educational programs that meet the States CEU requirements and licensure.
  • Provide in-services on continuing education courses to other staff members.
  • Participate in special outpatient programs.
Requirements:
  • Current State of Maryland or Virginia Physical Therapy Assistant license.
  • CPR Certification (Preferred).

Schedule: Open to 5- 8 hour shifts or hour shifts.
