Duties:

  • Develop and maintain collaborations with industry, university, and government researchers.
  • Design, conduct, and coordinate analytical studies of specific food components and animal-based food studies, ensuring research protocols are followed.
  • Document study procedures and results in scientific manuscripts, reports, abstracts, posters, and databases.
  • Conduct data analysis, prepare datasets for the nutrient database, and provide MAFCL data in response to inquiries from scientists and the public.
  • Prepare and present research results at professional meetings and for publication.

Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of experience in iodine, purines, nitrate/nitrites, glucosinolates, and animal products, including development of nutrient databases used by the public.
