Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an Infusion Registered Nurse in our Rheumatology department. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the administration of infusion therapies and providing exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Administer infusion therapies to patients, ensuring accurate dosing and monitoring of treatment outcomes.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and medication lists.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on infusion therapy, medication management, and disease management.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum one year of experience in infusion therapy or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software systems.
