About the Role:

Helping Hand is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our team. As a key member of our Adult Services department, you will provide group and individual counseling and therapy to individuals referred for services. Your expertise will help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve their personal growth goals and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

Provide counseling and therapy services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including OTs, SLPs, BCBAs, and mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care
Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and agency standards

Requirements:

Master's degree in a related field (e.g., counseling, psychology, social work)
1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Zoom
