Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Director to join our team at Northwest Missouri State University. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a passion for food and innovation.

About the Role:

The Culinary Director will be responsible for leading our culinary team in creating innovative menu concepts, ensuring Sodexo's culinary standards are met, and developing and motivating team members to embrace culinary innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing and inventory management
  • Menu compliance and food quality control
  • Culinary team development and motivation
  • Food safety and sanitation standard compliance
  • Automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems

About Us:

Northwest Missouri State University is a state-assisted, comprehensive four-year regional university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). We offer a broad range of undergraduate and selected graduate programs on our Maryville campus.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
