Job Title: Stockroom Supervisor

Estimated Salary: $16.50/hour

Parkhurst Dining is seeking a highly experienced Stockroom Supervisor to join our team in Kline Commons.

Job Summary:

The Stockroom Supervisor will be responsible for receiving stock items from vendors, organizing all food storage areas for inventory, and keeping storage areas clean in accordance with Parkhurst standards and procedures under strict sanitary conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect orders received to ensure correct weight, quality, and quantity.
  • Check all products in accordance with HACCP regulations, including rotation of stock as received (FIFO).
  • Date all products individually.
  • Put orders away in a timely manner.
  • Clean all food storage areas.
  • Check the loading dock daily and keep it clean.
  • Record all cooler and freezer temperatures daily.
  • Work closely with the chef and cook to ensure that proper communication is maintained.
  • Assist with weekly inventory.
  • Assist in catering deliveries and utility duties as needed.
  • Follow the cleaning schedule as provided by management, using 'clean as you go' techniques.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with management, informing them of products and supplies needed.
  • Keep invoice-receiving logs.
  • Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene.
  • Follow all Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards. Use Smile Plus hospitality imperatives.
  • Assist fellow team members at every opportunity.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Serv-safe certified and Allergen certified - not required but preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Standing and/or walking - 100% of the time.
  • Occasionally lifting up to 100 lbs.
