We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Perianesthesia team at Fairview Health Services. As a Perianesthesia RN, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Assess patients and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Coordinate care with the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff.
- Deliver high-quality patient care, including pre-admission phone calls, admissions, and post-operative care.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement evidence-based practices.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Minnesota.
- 2 years of experience in Perianesthesia, PACU, ICU, or a comparable program.
- Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association.
- Preferred qualifications include ACLS and PALS Certification, as well as experience in high-acuity nursing units.
