Job Overview:

This role involves developing and implementing advanced AI solutions to tackle challenging problems in the supply chain industry. As an AI Optimization Engineer, you will design, build, and deploy AI models that enhance decision-making, improve forecasting accuracy, and optimize warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Machine Learning Algorithms: Create machine learning and AI algorithms to solve supply chain optimization problems, such as demand forecasting, inventory management, route optimization, and predictive maintenance.
  • Train and Deploy AI Models: Train and fine-tune AI models, deploying them into production environments in collaboration with DevOps and software engineering teams.
  • Implement Monitoring Systems: Implement monitoring and logging systems to track model performance, detect anomalies, and make continuous improvements.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with software engineers, domain experts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into AI solutions.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, applying cutting-edge techniques to address supply chain challenges.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, machine learning, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Professional Experience: 2+ years of experience in AI development, deployment, and maintenance, preferably in the supply chain or warehousing industry.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Python programming, AI libraries, and frameworks, as well as experience with SQL, data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
  • Leadership Abilities: Leadership skills to provide strategic guidance and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
