MedPro Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) Travel Nurse RN for an exciting opportunity.


Position Overview:

As a travel nurse specializing in SICU, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients facing life-threatening conditions. This position requires a skilled Registered Nurse who is adept at managing complex assessments and delivering high-intensity therapies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive patient care while offering education and support to families.
  • Ensure the proper operation of life support systems, including ventilators and feeding tubes.
  • Monitor vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration, to detect any signs of distress.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and insert catheters as required.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of all medication administration.
  • Assist in emergency procedures to manage sudden changes in patients' conditions.
  • Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) effectively when necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Active RN License.
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • BLS and ACLS Certification.
  • A minimum of eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care SICU setting.
  • Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
