Holland & Sherry is seeking a skilled Machine Technician to join our team in Owings Mills, MD. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient handling and storage of goods, as well as maintaining machinery to optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, and automated sample making systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet operational goals.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a warehouse operator and machine technician.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory software.
  • Ability to operate scissor lifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
