The Dental Practice Manager will provide operational leadership and day-to-day oversight of assigned dental offices, supervising non-clinician dental staff. This role will collaborate with the Director of Dental Operations to fulfill Community Health Programs' mission, vision, and values.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership
- Implement operational processes and procedures to achieve departmental strategic and operating objectives.
- Collaborate with the Director of Dental Operations and non-clinician staff to develop and achieve goals for clinician performance and productivity.
- Ensure department staff are trained and provide the best possible service and support for patients and providers.
- Approve and submit payroll accurately.
- Staff the department efficiently to support providers.
- Assure billing is accurate and submitted on a timely basis.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and document meeting agendas, minutes, and action items requiring follow-up.
- Ensure that standard operating procedures for compliance and safety are followed to meet local, state, and federal regulatory guidelines.
- Produce, analyze, and actively use key metrics to effectively manage practice and staff performance.
- Conduct performance reviews for direct reports, ensuring that adherence to Community Health Programs' core mission and values, requisite job skills, productivity measures, personal growth, and learning opportunities are appropriately assessed and managed.
- Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and support.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with people from diverse cultural, socio-economic, education, racial, ethnic, and professional backgrounds.
- Ability to work effectively with managers, co-workers, and members of the public and professional groups.
- Knowledge of dental care.
- Five or more (5+) years of Dental and/or medical office experience.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
