Digital Press Specialist

Alexander's | Automated Print + Fulfillment is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to work as a Digital Press Operator. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital printing processes and be able to troubleshoot basic issues with digital print equipment.

The Digital Press Operator's primary responsibility is to set up and operate a digital press and digital finishing equipment to produce items consistent with customer specifications. Alexander's is looking for a motivated individual who is willing to learn and grow with our company.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate digital print machinery in accordance with prints and specifications.
• Produce the required quantity of components within established specifications and tolerances.
• Inspect finished components for ensuring compliance with calibrations, quality, and required specifications.
• Consistently inspect equipment to ensure proper setup and alignment; perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Manage inventory of all supplies, consumables, and media.

Requirements

• Experience operating a digital press is a plus.
• Small press operation or previous digital press experience is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic issues with digital print equipment.
• Excellent communication, time management, and an eye for quality skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer and mathematical skills.
• The ability to stand continuously during shift.
• Detail-oriented / Initiative / Organizational skills / Problem-solving.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Pay is negotiable depending on previous experience. $19-$24/hr based on experience and certifications.
