Job Title: Pool – Lecturer

We are seeking qualified scholars and professionals to join our team as lecturers in the School of Public Affairs & Administration. As a lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in various academic programs, including public administration, law and society, urban planning, and public policy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach a specified number of courses per semester, which may be undergraduate or graduate level and may be taught face-to-face, hybrid, or online.
  • Design course content and syllabus in accordance with departmental guidance and university standards.
  • Prepare for and attend all class meetings, provide timely feedback, and instructor/student interaction.
  • Develop and administer assignments and tests, evaluate student work, and assign grades.
  • Be available for students involved in classes taught, including office hours and timely responses to student inquiries.
Requirements:
  • To teach undergraduate courses, applicants must meet one of the following criteria: possess a master's degree in a related field, possess a bachelor's degree in a related field plus five or more years of work experience directly related to the specific area of instruction.
  • To teach master's courses, applicants must meet one of the following criteria: possess a PhD in a related field, possess a master's degree in a related field plus five or more years of work experience directly related to the specific area of instruction, or possess a bachelor's degree in a related field plus eight or more years of work experience directly related to the specific area of instruction.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous successful teaching experience.
