We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate childcare professional to join our team at Huguenot UMC Preschool. As a Lead Toddler Teacher, you will play a vital role in implementing developmentally appropriate activities that foster healthy physical, social, and emotional growth in our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the Assistant Teacher to establish and follow a daily routine
  • Engage with children through conversation, reading, singing, and play
  • Develop and implement weekly lesson plans
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding classroom accomplishments and children's progress
  • Write bi-annual progress reports

Requirements:

  • 12 credits in college-level early childhood education training or a CDA
  • Experience working with toddlers
  • Patience, creativity, and a love of children
