Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician to join our Hematology and Oncology Department at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Hematology and Oncology and be able to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in teaching and supervising Hematology and Oncology fellows' clinics
  • Have own clinic and supervise the infusion area on clinic days
  • Assist in covering the inpatient consult service in conjunction with Hematology and Oncology fellows
  • Participate in the Cancer committee and multidisciplinary tumor boards
  • Participate in clinical research, quality improvement, and committee memberships
Requirements
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology and Board Certified in Internal Medicine
  • Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Subject to change based on agency needs
  • U.S. Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy
  • Must be proficient in written and spoken English
