Job Summary

Atrius Health is seeking a Medical Assistant I to join our team in Concord, MA. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clinicians with routine clinical procedures and tests in the exam room.
  • Advise patients of preparation and testing required for exams.
  • Ensure all pre-visit work required for exam is completed and that lab and other test results are available in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Deliver excellent customer service and strengthen the patient/clinician relationship through timely and informative interactions with patients.
  • Improve clinical operations and efficiencies by providing efficient flow of patients.
  • Provide clinical and clerical support to the practice and clinicians related to patient care.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit or a Medical Assistant Certification required.
  • Associate degree in medical assisting or graduate of medical assistant certification program preferred.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.
  • Experience typically acquired through a minimum of one-year prior experience in a clinical or customer service setting as determined by the department (a bachelor's or associate degree may be substituted for experience).
