Biomedical Equipment Specialist

At TriMedx, we are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a Biomedical Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and verifying the performance of complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of complex biomedical equipment.
- Serve as a technical advisor to the medical and clinical staff in the safe operation and use of clinical equipment.
- Assist in developing specifications for the selection of new clinical equipment.
- Demonstrate adherence to the TriMedx core values in all professional interactions.
- 2-year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience.
- Technical Certification (CBET) strongly preferred.
- Minimum 3 years' experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment.
- Complex computer skills including the ability to administrate a system, interpret error codes, defragment hard-drives, replace power supplies, and interpret computer codes.
- Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources.
