We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Resident Care Supervisor to join our team at DePaul Senior Living Community. As a key member of our care services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, while also overseeing the daily operations of our assisted living community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and oversight to ensure the provision of routine and emergent resident care services.
- Respect and maintain resident rights and confidentiality, demonstrating a caring and positive attitude towards all residents, staff, and guests.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Resident Care Aide and Medication Technician, including assisting with medication administration and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Supervise and evaluate the work performance of Resident Care Aides assigned to your shift, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and external partners to ensure seamless care coordination and service delivery.
- Monitor residents' needs and make referrals to outside service providers as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and ALP Nurse to address resident care and personnel issues, ensuring a positive and supportive work environment.
- Perform other duties as needed or requested by supervisor, including participating in quality improvement initiatives and maintaining accurate records.
- LPN License required.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- One year of experience in a care-giving capacity, with prior medication management experience and supervisory experience desired.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to multi-task.
- Required references and criminal record check.
- Annual Tuberculosis (TB) testing and Annual Health Assessment in accordance with New York State Regulations.
