## Job Description

Cross Country Locums is seeking a skilled Physician - Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in California. As a PM&R Medical Director, you will be responsible for providing medical management of patients in our Acute Rehabilitation Unit. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in rehabilitation medicine and excellent leadership skills.

## Responsibilities

* Provide medical management of patients in the Acute Rehabilitation Unit
* Collaborate with RNs and other office staff to ensure high-quality patient care
* Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

## Requirements

* CA license
* BLS
* DEA
* Board Certified

## Work Environment

* Inpatient setting with 123 beds in the department
* 6 to 12 patients per shift
* Level I Trauma Center and a DNV Comprehensive Stroke Center
