The Skagit Casino Resort is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for owning all aspects of payroll operations, including processing bi-weekly payrolls, preparing tax reports, and supervising the Lead Payroll Assistant.

**Responsibilities:**

* Process multi-property bi-weekly payrolls with accuracy and efficiency
* Prepare quarterly and annual tax reports in a timely manner
* Supervise the Lead Payroll Assistant and provide guidance on payroll-related tasks
* Maintain payroll and timecard databases, producing standard and custom reports using Cognos and WFM

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree or certifications in applicable field preferred
* At least four years of experience in a similar position, including experience with payroll systems at a comparably sized operation
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations
