Key Responsibilities of the Senior Property Accountant

  • Generating monthly financial reports for the commercial property portfolio, encompassing all active assets managed by the firm.
  • Analyzing construction budgets and facilitating monthly payment requests for contractors.
  • Ensuring adherence to established accounting policies and procedures.
  • Upholding internal control standards and compliance measures.

Qualifications for the Senior Property Accountant

  • 3-5 years of pertinent accounting experience within the real estate sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or MBA credentials are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Yardi, MRI, or Deltek is preferred; proficiency in Excel is essential.
