Job OverviewPenino & Moynihan LLP, a leading insurance defense law firm in Connecticut and New York, is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join its growing practice group. This is a full-time position with the possibility of a fully remote or hybrid schedule. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of insurance defense cases, including court appearances and depositions. With a strong focus on litigation and trial skills, our team provides excellent support and training for attorneys at all levels. About the RoleThis role involves managing a caseload under partner supervision, drafting motions and status reports, and regularly handling court appearances and depositions. To succeed in this position, you will need a strong understanding of insurance defense law and experience litigating cases in Connecticut State courts. A J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Connecticut bar are also required. Bonus points for NY admission. Salary: $**80,000 - $110,000 per year** depending on qualifications.

Qualifications• J.D. from an accredited law school• Admitted to practice in Connecticut; NY admission a plus• 2+ years' experience litigating insurance defense cases in CT State courts, including handling depositions• Strong organizational, time management, writing, and interpersonal skills required
