Job Title: Overnight Private Duty Nurse

Aveanna is seeking a compassionate and skilled Overnight Private Duty Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in the home setting.

Job Summary:

The Overnight Private Duty Nurse will be responsible for delivering and coordinating quality patient care in compliance with physician orders. This includes observing and assessing patient condition and care needs, documenting all activities and assessments, and participating in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one patient care in a home environment
  • Execute physicians' prescribed plans of care and compliant documentation of care provided
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Patient assessments, coordination of care
  • Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
  • Home health experience
