About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our Ipsos Interactive Services (IIS) division. The Director of Finance will lead all aspects of financial management for the division, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with both internal and external audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Lead the budget process, including a five-year strategic plan, annual budgets, and ensuring that the process is consistent with Ipsos Group guidelines and aligned with the strategies of the North American business.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Provide financial management for the Business Line and assist in the financial management of the business within North America. Responsible for preparation of management reports, budgets, and forecasts in support of the Business Unit Leader.
  • Financial Control and Compliance: Monitor Business Unit budgets & forecasts, including consolidating results, analyzing results per sector and/or service, and communicating results to the Business Unit leader team, as appropriate. Report results to Business Unit, Country, and Regional management.
  • Financial Leadership and Collaboration: Provide senior financial support on global projects, including proforma analysis of project results/projections. Collaborate with external stakeholders, including auditors both internal and external.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with preferably 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Skills: Demonstrated experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information effectively.
