Job Title: Retail Front End Supervisor

The Retail Front End Supervisor plays a crucial role in the store leadership team, working closely with Store Management in areas such as Merchandising, Customer Service, Operations, and Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all store functions and associates while serving as Manager on Duty, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Maximize sales results through effective training, development, and coaching of direct reports, fostering a positive work environment and driving growth.
  • Promote safety for both customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines, maintaining a secure and respectful workplace.
  • Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration, encouraging open communication and mutual respect among team members.
  • Solve issues/concerns effectively, making informed decisions and overseeing front-end operations to deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to minimize shortage, protecting the company's assets and reputation.
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates, helping build a talented and dedicated team.
  • Participate in weekly workload planning meetings, contributing to the store's success and growth.
  • Drive Community Relations participation through company programs and partnerships, strengthening ties with local communities and promoting social responsibility.
  • Coordinate meal and break periods, monitoring schedule adherence and ensuring efficient staffing.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of supervisory experience in an off-price, big box, or specialty retail environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as required, adapting to changing business needs.
  • Capacity to lift, move, and handle store merchandise weighing 40 pounds or more, standing, and walking for extended periods.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • An estimated salary range of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, competitive wages reflecting market standards and location.
