The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will play a vital role in supporting surgical operations by administering anesthesia and managing patient care at Oregon SurgiCenter, a specialized Urology Surgery Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluations of patients before surgical interventions.
- Formulate and implement anesthesia care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Administer anesthetic agents and monitor patient responses throughout the procedure.
- Oversee physiological parameters during anesthesia and recovery phases.
- Provide patient education regarding anesthesia effects in both pre-operative and post-operative contexts.
- Utilize various techniques for maintaining physiological stability in the operating room.
- Facilitate patient recovery from anesthesia effectively.
- Engage in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, focusing on airway management as necessary.
- Document post-operative assessments following anesthesia administration.
- Ensure meticulous and timely documentation in medical records.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Ideal candidates will possess an active state license as a certified registered nurse anesthetist in Oregon and meet all relevant state regulations. A graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program is essential, along with a preference for candidates with over three years of experience.
Oregon Urology Institute and Oregon SurgiCenter provide a competitive compensation package, including comprehensive health insurance, a generous paid time off program, and a salary range of $260,000.00 to $280,000.00, along with a sign-on bonus. This position offers the opportunity to work in a multi-specialty practice without the demands of night shifts, weekends, or on-call duties.
