Oversees and manages the operations of the organization's warehouses, including the processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment. Responsible for tracking all materials and supplies; conducts audits of goods received into the warehouse. Manages the receipt, storage, and shipment of materials, along with related reporting in accordance with established protocols. Develops and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to optimize the flow of goods and manage warehouse space effectively. Ensures the efficiency of operational procedures, space utilization, and the upkeep and safeguarding of facilities and equipment.
What you bring to the role:
Supervises entry-level employees. Establishes daily operational objectives for the team. Challenges encountered may be significant but are generally straightforward. Ensures that policies, practices, and procedures are comprehended and adhered to by direct reports and stakeholders. Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of oversight and review.
Manages support-level associates (clerks, production associates, technicians) in a high-transaction environment.
Sets daily operational goals for the team to ensure task completion.
Assignments are primarily defined according to schedules and deliverables.
Contributes to the formulation of processes and procedures, ensuring that employees operate within these frameworks. Can make exceptions to some but not all processes and procedures.
Possesses thorough knowledge of departmental processes. Acts as the primary contact to resolve issues escalated by support personnel. A High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required. A four-year college degree is not mandatory but is strongly preferred. Minimum of 5 years of functional experience, including at least 3 years of specific experience and 1 year of leadership experience.
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $55,000 to $89,300.00 per year. The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S.
for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan.
Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.
Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire.New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
At Ingram Micro, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonuses, or sales incentives and long-term incentives.
