As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and document patient responses and outcomes
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and obstetric emergencies
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Current RN licensure in the state of North Dakota
- At least 1-2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
