Job Summary

As an Endoscopy Technician at Memorial Hermann Health System, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians with endoscopy procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with endoscopy procedures, delivering high-quality care to patients according to the Endoscopy Skills Inventory.
  • Obtain and prepare supplies and instruments according to individual physician preferences, restock supplies, and maintain endoscopy rooms.
  • Assist with scheduling and rescheduling of patients.
  • Ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications.
  • Promote individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education, skills competency, and support department-based goals.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certified Nurse Assistant or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • One year experience as a nurse assistant or equivalent healthcare experience
