Job Summary
The EDI/Integrations Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless integration of carrier systems with our employee benefits platform. This position will be responsible for setting up and managing carrier integrations and EDI files, resolving discrepancies and providing backup support for building clients within Employee Navigator and answering basic client management inquiries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Carrier Integrations:
    • Establish and maintain connections between our employee benefits platform and various carrier systems.
    • Configure and test EDI file formats to ensure accurate data exchange.
    • Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • EDI File Management:
    • Create, process, and analyze EDI files to facilitate data transfer between our system and carriers.
    • Identify and resolve discrepancies in EDI data.
    • Implement quality control measures to prevent errors and ensure data accuracy.
  • Client Support:
    • Provide backup support for building client profiles within Employee Navigator.
    • Answer basic client management questions related to benefits administration.
    • Collaborate with Account Management and clients to address their needs and concerns.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in EDI file processing and integration.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, COBRA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with employee benefits software (e.g., Employee Navigator, Ease, PlanSource) is preferred.
