Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at US Derm Support Roles. As a key member of our clinic staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform opening and closing clinic duties, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
  • Greet patients, check them in for appointments, and verify insurance information
  • Scan documents into the electronic health record and maintain accurate patient records
  • Manage the waiting area and reception counter, maintaining a clean and organized environment
  • Check schedules for added, canceled, and no-show appointments, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed
  • Respond to designated tasks in the electronic health record and order clinic office supplies
  • Sell and track cosmetic products, and distribute mail
  • Prepare for next day scheduled appointments and maintain a high level of customer service
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of recent medical office experience or in a similar capacity preferred
  • Proficient in basic computer functions and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and type a minimum of 40 wpm
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to respond positively to constructive feedback and direction from supervisors
  • Professional appearance and manner at all times, with a friendly, cheerful, tactful, and polite demeanor
