Las Cruces, New Mexico, United States Atrium Physical Therapy Full time
Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant
Candidates must possess or be eligible for a New Mexico Physical Therapist Assistant license (which requires graduation from an accredited PTA program).

Atrium Physical Therapy, a family-operated outpatient physical therapy practice, is seeking a dedicated, engaging, and enthusiastic physical therapist assistant to join our professional clinical team.
Our aim is to maintain our status as the premier outpatient physical therapy clinic in our area as we expand our services to accommodate more patients. How can we achieve this without your contribution?
About You:

You possess:
  • A strong commitment to being part of a cohesive team.
  • A passion for utilizing your skills to help patients regain full functionality.
  • An ability to develop the 'soft-skills' necessary to foster a therapeutic relationship with your patients.
  • The technical proficiency to manage documentation using our OptimisPT EMR system.
  • A thirst for acquiring new skills - we offer a generous continuing education stipend to support your growth.
  • A flair for innovation in employing a diverse array of treatment modalities.
  • An awareness of the financial aspects of healthcare. It's important to recognize that we operate in a challenging environment. We cannot compete with home health and hospitals as they receive significantly higher reimbursements for similar services. If financial compensation is your primary concern, this may not be the right setting for you.
  • A sense of curiosity, adaptability, and capability in applying your skills across various patient conditions - at our clinic, you will encounter a broader range of cases than in many other practice environments.

About Us:
  • Our work environment: Our team fosters a fun and welcoming family atmosphere.
  • Our facility: We are equipped with a variety of treatment tools to provide the best care experience for our patients, including the AlterG Antigravity Treadmill, Delphi BFR units, strength training equipment, and dry needling.
  • Our onboarding process - we prioritize integrating new team members into our family. We have a structured process to ensure that each staff member is ready to fulfill our commitment to our patients - Your Life: Unhindered.
  • Our patient base: We address a wide range of patient conditions, including acute, chronic, and post-surgical orthopedic cases, chronic pain, chronic lung disease (including long-haul COVID cases), as well as acute and chronic neurological cases.
  • Our reputation: We have been a trusted name in the community for over 20 years, with a solid network of referring physicians and numerous loyal patients.

Compensation Overview - Total package ranging from $57,084.00 to $77,693.89
  • Competitive hourly wage in an outpatient physical therapy setting - $32.12 per hour based on experience.
  • $1537 sign-on bonus or relocation assistance.
  • $1537 retention bonus after the first year of employment.
  • $2000 annual continuing education stipend to enhance your skills.
  • Health/Dental/Vision insurance - employer covers 70% of the costs.
  • Employer-funded Life and Short-Term Disability insurance.
  • SIMPLE IRA with a 3% employer match.
  • Reimbursement for APTA Basic membership.
  • Reimbursement for New Mexico Physical Therapist Licensure.

Total compensation assumes participation in health/dental/vision, SIMPLE IRA, and agreement to continue employment for a second year.
