We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Altium Packaging LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment, and facility. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, using electro-mechanical skills and PLC experience.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses, as well as valves and pumps.
• Maintain machines in optimal processing condition, ensuring compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.
• Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines, using safe work practices and effective communication skills.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless production processes.
Requirements:
• Completion of Altium Industrial Maintenance Technician I training.
• Basic mathematical and computer experience skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and forms.
• Safe work practices and electro-mechanical skills.
• Effective communication and PLC or blow-molding experience a plus.
Work Environment:
The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and using hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds. The work environment is a production setting with moving mechanical parts and loud noise levels. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
