We are currently seeking an Aircraft Avionics Specialist to enhance our client's operations. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in avionics and a passion for aviation technology.

Key Responsibilities

As an Aircraft Avionics Specialist, your primary duties will include:

  • Diagnosing, repairing, and installing electrical and avionics systems.
  • Conducting routine inspections and maintenance on airframe components and related equipment.
  • Managing engine removal and installation processes.
  • Performing OEM maintenance on Learjet models.
  • Assembling precision components with attention to detail.
  • Maintaining and repairing various avionics equipment, including radar and communication devices.
  • Documenting maintenance logs and work orders in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) license.
  • Experience with Learjet aircraft.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering documents and specifications.
  • Experience with precision assembly and use of pneumatic tools.
  • Personal tools are necessary for this position.

Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to:

  • Climb ladders and work at heights of approximately 20 feet.
  • Adapt to various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures and noise.
  • Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
  • Lift and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds.
