Registered Nurse for Hospice and Palliative Care

POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a dedicated weekend nurse to provide home care services for patients in hospice and palliative settings. This role offers thirty (30) hours of pay for forty (40) hours of work.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Candidates must be graduates of an NLN-accredited nursing program, holding either an associate or baccalaureate degree under RN supervision. A current registered nurse license is required.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of one (1) year of recent experience in medical/surgical nursing is necessary, with additional experience in community health being advantageous.
COMPETENCIES:
- Thorough understanding of nursing principles and practices
- Proficient in identifying patient-related issues and proposing solutions
- Capability to uphold quality control standards
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Willingness to provide services across various locations as needed
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
