Pavement Marking Specialist

Job Summary:
Hog Technologies is seeking a skilled Pavement Marking Specialist to join our team. As a Pavement Marking Specialist, you will be responsible for operating various types of pavement marking equipment related to long line striping on roads and highways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading equipment into and out of company trucks
- Maintaining safety equipment required for each job
- Assisting with lane closures and set-up of traffic control devices
- Preparing surfaces for striping by cleaning and ensuring roads and highways are free from debris
- Applying markings on the roads and highways according to specifications
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as a laborer; pavement marking and signs experience is needed
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work with others
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Mechanical aptitude is necessary
- Ability to appropriately represent Hog Technologies to customers
Work Environment:
This job operates in a variety of environments based on the location of the job, which could lead to hot, cold, dusty, and noisy areas. The position requires traveling, and hotel accommodations are paid for by Hog. Travelers receive per diem allowance and work hours will range from 40-65 hours per week, with lots of room for overtime.
Physical Demands:
The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for the majority of the shift.
