Your Role

The primary responsibilities of the Class A Truck Operator include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle, utilizing knowledge of safe loading/unloading practices, and ensuring the proper operation of your equipment. You will also be responsible for reviewing delivery paperwork for accuracy, checking orders for completeness, and delivering products using various equipment. Adhering to DOT regulations and maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal laws is essential. You will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining professional communication with customers and vendors.

Main Responsibilities
  • Safely transport products from one location to another.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Plan efficient routes to meet delivery timelines.
  • Report any issues or incidents to the dispatch team.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.

The hourly wage for this position is competitive, with starting rates influenced by factors such as experience and qualifications. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, accrued sick pay, paid time off, paid holidays, bereavement pay, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
  • Must have a safe driving record with a clear MVR.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Able to operate an 18-wheel tractor/trailer for deliveries.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience driving a 53ft. tractor/trailer.
  • Willingness to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
