Join Quad's Team as a Finishing Machine Operator

We are seeking an experienced Finishing Machine Operator to join our team at Quad's Burlington plant. As a Finishing Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining folding machines, as well as monitoring and maintaining quality by following company SOPs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate folding machines to produce high-quality finished products
  • Monitor and maintain quality by following company SOPs
  • Provide oversight, direction, and training to general workers or temporary staff members assigned to assist in the folding area
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Perform other bindery and related functions as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous Finishing Operator experience, including the ability to set up and operate bindery equipment
  • Knowledge of cutting, mailing, and folding is highly desired
  • Ability to bend and lift 10-15 pounds continuously, lift up to 70 pounds occasionally, stand for long hours, use hands and wrists continuously in a controlled movement
  • Excellent communication skills, including good verbal and written comprehension
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
