About the Job:

We are looking for a highly skilled Detail Drafter and Scanning Specialist to join our team at Allied Welding Systems. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed working drawings of machinery using 3D scanning technology and CAD software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and draft detailed working drawings of machinery using 3D scanning technology and CAD software.
  • Analyze data from 3D scans to identify areas of improvement for increased efficiency.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement solutions to optimize material handling processes.
  • Prior experience in the bulk material handling industry is preferred, but not required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficient in Inventor or other CAD software.
  • Experience with 3D scanning technology and machine design.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience.
  • A minimum of 40 hours of paid overtime per week.
