Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Angry Orchard Cidery in Walden, NY.

• Prepare and cook high-quality food to complement our world-class beers and spirits.
• Ensure food orders are filled efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
• Help control food costs and waste by implementing proper labeling, storing, and rotating of all food.
• Follow recipes to fill food orders of consistent taste, quality, and presentation.
• Support kitchen management in controlling food costs and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of culinary/kitchen experience (high-volume establishment preferred).
• Working knowledge of executing recipes.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, sometimes repeatedly.
• Regular walking and standing for long periods of time (up to 11 hours a day) on concrete, metal, and grated surfaces.
• Interface with computer systems with precision.
• Ability to handle kitchen and service equipment.
