Job Summary:

Versa Recruiting, LLC is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the overall well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patients
  • Manage efficient flow of patient care including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care and comfort, and arranging for admissions, testing and discharges
  • Maintain and review patients' records including posting tests and examination results
  • Administer medications in accordance with physician orders
  • Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans
  • Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (may include phone triage when needed)

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a school of nursing with either a Diploma, ADN or BSN
  • Must hold a current RN license from the state of Texas or multistate
  • 1 year experience required but willing to accept NEW GRADS
  • BLS, ACLS and PALS required
